Where We Are Now (WWAN) intends to illuminate, deepen, and amplify the discourse around aesthetic and political practices.  For the inaugural issue of its online journal, WWAN examines the aesthetics and politics of intimacy through essays, projects, legal cases, and interdisciplinary research by a select group of artists and cultural practicioners. WWAN’s online journal also invites public participation through responses to contributions and listings about events, lectures, workshops, meet-ups, report-backs, and public projects that pertain to art and politics in New York City.
